As you may remember, I wrote two kid’s craft books, Rubber Band Mania and Duct Tape Mania that were released last summer. I posted about them here. Well, just recently books #3 and #4 of the series have been placed on Amazon ready for pre-order! So excited! I’m currently working on book #5, sorry I can’t divulge any details yet, soon! I can tell you I am having so much fun with this series, and I can’t wait to hear your reactions to Paper Fun Mania and Button Mania when they hit the shelves. 🙂
Button Mania: Buttons, Bottlecaps, and Beyond! contains tons of projects for all kids and offers a variety of skill level projects. The pages are full of colorful step by step instructions with plenty of fun facts and tips.
My favorite button project in the book? That is most definitely the rainbow button wind chime! I have it hanging outside my door. You can see it in action in the video above. My favorite bottlecap project has to be the rag doll horse. I cant’ wait for you to see it and make one of your own! There aren’t just buttons and bottlecaps though, you will also find plenty of projects that use plastic lids, so be sure to order yours ahead of time.
Paper Fun Mania uses all different forms of paper including cardboard, paper plates, scrapbook paper, tissue paper and plenty more. From making homemade envelopes to good old fashioned paper mache, there are plenty of things to keep the kids busy. My all time favorite project in this book has to be the paper plate kite. When I was little I had a hard time keeping a traditional kite in the sky. This project is fool proof and keeps the littler set entertained for hours! 🙂
I hope to share more about book #5 very soon. You can find my books at Amazon (links above), in Barnes & Noble stores as well as on their website and even in Target! Remember, Amazon has these two new books available now for preorder (they are at a special locked in price too!).
Thank you to Studio Fun International, Inc. (formerly Reader’s Digest Children’s Publications) for their continued faith in my work. They have been an absolute JOY to work with and I’m so glad they chose me to work with. Remember, I’m still busy in the craft room working on book #5, so stay tuned for more on that soon. In the meantime, you can find plenty of craft projects for kids and adults on my craft blog, CraftsbyAmanda.com
congrats! these books will be on my shelf!
Thank you Hens!
